Overview

LBegress is a means-of-egress analysis tool for fire engineers and architectural offices. Upload a DWG or DXF drawing; the system computes escape route polylines through door and corridor midpoints, writes each route's length at its start point in the room, and produces a new AutoCAD file with the results drawn on the original project.

Automatic Element Recognition

Rooms, doors, corridors and stairs are recognised from the drawing's layers and geometry.

Floor and Room Structure

Recognised elements are listed per floor and room, and can be corrected by hand when needed.

Travel Distance Calculation

The route and its length are computed from each room's farthest point to the nearest stair exit door.

Door and Corridor Passage

Routes pass through door and corridor midpoints for a realistic path.

Limit Check

Routes that exceed your travel distance limit are marked on the plan with a "> Egress Limit" note.

AutoCAD Output

Routes, distances and markups are drawn on the original project and downloaded as a new DWG/DXF file.
